at the American Quilter's Society 2006 Quilt Show
This quilt is now a permanent part of the "Oh WOW" Miniature Quilt Collection at the Museum of the American Quilter's Society in Paducah, Kentucky
"PINEAPPLE SUPRISE" was selected as one of 13 quilts to be featured in the 2007 American Quilter's Society Calendar.
"PINEAPPLE SUPRISE" is featured in the Fall 2006 issue of the American Quilter Magazine. The quilt has also been photographed by Quilter's Newsletter Magazine, and has appeared in an article about miniature quilts in the Jan./Feb. 2007 issue of the magazine.
"PINEAPPLE SUPRISE" has been selected for the cover of the book "Oh Wow! The Miniature Quilts and Their Makers At The Museum Of The American Quilter's Society" which has been released this April
"PINEAPPLE SURPRISE AGAIN" WAS THE WINNER of the 1st Place award in the Miniature Category
at the 2006 International Quilt Festival held in Houston, TX.
"PINEAPPLE SURPRISE AGAIN" was exhibited in a special exhibit at the International Quilt Association's 2007 Chicago Expo .
"PINEAPPLE SURPRISE AGAIN" WAS THE WINNER of the 1st Place award in the Miniature Category
at the 2007 "OUILT ODYSSEY" held in Hershey, Penn. July 26 - 28 2007.
"PINEAPPLE SURPRISE" is an original design. It measures 20" x 20" and is made with 88 blocks. One Pineapple block pattern was used to make all of the colored and black blocks. The color placement, block size and shape were changed to create the design. The quilt contains 6,580 pieces with the smallest pieces measuring only 1/16th of an inch. The largest piece in the quilt measures 1/8th of an inch. After "Pineapple Surprise" won the 2006 Benartex Best Miniature Quilt Award at the American Quilter's Society Quilt Show, and was added to the "OH Wow" Miniature Quilt Collection at the Museum of the American Quilter's Society, Judy decided to make an exact copy to keep in her collection of quilts. This copy is "Pineapple Surprise Again", which was entered and won 1st place in the Miniature Quilt Category of the 2006 International Quilt Festival, in Houston Tx. and 1st Place in the miniature category of the 2007 "Quilt Odyssey" quilt show held in Hershey, Penn.

"Pineapple Flambe" is now a permanent part of the "Oh WOW" Miniature Quilt Collection
at the Museum of the American Quilter's Society in Paducah, Kentucky
Pineapple Flambe' measures 17" x 19" and was inspired by the beautiful Pineapple quilts made by Jane Hall. It was designed and made using 42 individual Pineapple blocks.

"NINE PATCH STARS" was designed for a miniature challenge offered by my local guild, Pine Belt Quilters. I gave a lecture on Foundation Piecing Miniature Quilts with a workshop and challenge following. This quilt is made from 25 1 3/8" 9 patch blocks and 60 1 3/8" star blocks. The technique used to make the quilt is a special technique that I developed from the idea of foundation piecing.

of the 2006 Pine Belt Quilters Quilt Show in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
"NINE PATCH STARS" was entered in the American Quilters Society "Online Quilt Show" and was voted to receive 2nd Place by internet viewers. The quilt will be on display at the American Quilters Society 2007 International Quilt Show that will be held in Paducah, Kentucky in April. It will also be featured in an article in the 2007 summer issue of the "American Quilter." The article will feature the top prize winners of the 2006 AQS Online Quilt show.

"MY FINE FEATHERED FRIENDS" was juried into and selected as a finalist in the 2004 American Quilter's Society Quit Show.

in the 2003 Pine Belt Quilt show held in Hattiesburg, Mississippi
I enjoyed working on "MY FINE FEATHERED FRIENDS" very much. This quilt was a combination of my love for nature and my passion for quilting. The quilt began with a set of "Birds In Full View" © 1999 patterns designed by Alice Wilhoit. I felt that I made this quilt my own by making numerous changes to block size, layout, embroidery embelishments and applique design.

There was also an instructional article in the magazine about the quilt.
"CONFETTI BASKETS" won 2nd place in the Basket Theme category
of the 2003 Pine Belt Quilters Quilt Show in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
"CONFETTI BASKETS" was made using one traditional basket pattern and 50 different fabrics for the baskets and background.
