UPDATE: November 24, 2009   Due to Hurricane Ida, the Mobile Azalea City Quilters had to re-schedule the workshops and lecture that was set for November. The new dates are February 9th and 10th, 2010.  Judy will give a lecture (that morning) on Color Composition and a workshop (that afternoon) on Color Composition. Judy will teach a Miniature workshop (all day) on the 10th. Please come if you get the chance. A lot of people are concerned about the miniature workshop. Please don't be - it's very informative and a lot of fun. A lot of the attendees say how much they enjoyed the workshop and were glad that they did come afterall.

UPDATE: October 7, 2009  Judy is progressing well on the new miniature she is working on. She has the border just about done and is about to start on the center blocks. The quilt will have about 225 blocks with each block being about 1 inch in size. There are about 77 pieces in each block.

Judy is also working on a Baltimore Album type quilt. Judy is designing all of the blocks that will be in the quilt.

NEWS FLASH !!!!!!! -- July 30, 2009 - Judy has a new miniature in the works. It will be 20" X 20". Judy has not chosen a name for it yet. According to her calculations, the quilt will have in excess of 17,000 pieces. Judy is hoping to have the quilt ready for entering in the upcoming AQS quilt show in 2010.
